Good morning world. I, and I'm sure many of you, seem to be able to have healthy breakfasts. Whether we continue our healthy streak past the (my) deadly hour of 4:30pm where my sugar cravings reach this all encompassing level, is another issue. For the past week I have replaced my breakfasts with juices to ease myself into an upcoming full detox. So far it hasn't been hard for me as normally I am not too hungry in the morning. So we shall see how the full detox goes tomorrow.
Today was slightly different. I normally like to incorporate some fruits or vegetables with higher carbohydrate or sugar content in the morning for some energy. But my dad needed a purely mean and green and sugarless juice this morning so I thought I'd double the batch and share it with him.
Recipe: 1 cucumber 2 stalks celery 1/2 capsicum 1 small bunch of kale 1 huge bunch of spinach (all organic except the capsicum - couldn't find any in Bangsar Village)
Okay. I'm not going to lie. It wasn't the best tasting juice but it was very, very clean. Like I could literally feel my insides being washed out and hung dry. Okay going to eat my pancakes now xx
